The Wildlife and Garden Club and Mary Ellen Ryall are busy, but it’s that time of year. Last Thursday, Mary Ellen was involved in a live radio broadcast on WOJB about her involvement with the butterfly garden. John Anderson, who will be officiating and blessing the butterfly garden in a special ceremony on April 26, was also interviewed by the radio station along with our own mayor Donna Barnes-Haesemeyer. Eco-tourism was the main topic and this is just so great that our little town could be broadcasted over the airwaves just because we are thinking in this direction. Good for us! They’ll be back to cover the April 26 event also, so listen for this broadcast, and even if you are not there, we can be a part of it.
