Calling all monarch butterfly helpers

The Shell Lake Public Library is hosting the monthly Craft Club at 10 AM, on Saturday, April 12. Happy Tonics needs your help to package milkweed seed for the Earth Day/Arbor Day Shrub Planting Event. We want to provide a token gift to attendees and invite guests to plant a butterfly garden with monarch butterfly host plant seed.

Carol Hubin, Shell Lake Senior Center, has cleaned lots of seed over the winter so that we can get ready for spring planting. The Minnesota Wisconsin Lakes and Pines Girl Scouts have volunteered to help package seed. We would like to encourage an intergenerational group of volunteers to work together to teach, encourage, and plant the seed of sustainability. Hope you can join us.
