When: June 19 at 10 AM - Film: "The Future of Food" at 10 AM, 90 minute film. Lunch at 12 NOON. Film is FREE. Lunch is $3.50. Lunch reservation must be made 24 hours in advance. RSVP Teresa (715) 468-4750

NATIVE PLANT AND BUTTERFLY IDENTIFICATION CLASS

When: Saturday, June 7 to August 23, at 1:30 PM
Where: Monarch Butterfly Habitat, Shell Lake, Wisconsin
Ages: Intergenerational. Preschool to adult.


Learn what plants are host plants for the monarch butterfly and which plants are nectar sources. Find out about the biodiversity of the habitat for other species including crickets and other butterflies. Learn about the pollinators and what plants they prefer for fuel and energy.
